A small, relatively young tech-company based in Roermond. We are working with a divers list of interesting companies. From an innovative and disruptive startup in the lighting industry to a game-changing platform for the interior and green industry.
With our client-base growing, future development for existing customers and an inhouse project, we are looking to expand our core team.

a Cloud Engineer (AWS) who has a passion for designing an implementing high-performing, secure and scalable cloud environments as a code, likes to keep knowledge and skills on the cutting-edge and who seeks a good work/life balance.

What you will be doing
Your main focus will be working on large, innovative projects which require a highly secure and scalable environment keeping performance and stability in mind.
As the go-to AWS expert, you will be maintaining the existing AWS Cloud Infrastructures , optimize said infrastructures and create new infrastructures for our clients. You will take the lead in designing and implementing AWS architectures and environments with performance, scalability, availability and security in mind all the while keeping a close contact with the development-team to make sure they optimise their code, if and where needed, to work flawlessly on the infrastructure.

What we expect from you
- You’ve been walking the AWS walk for about 3 years
- Love working with docker (on AWS) and know you way around ECS & ECR
- an uncontrollable urge to secure and protect data
- Embracing DevSecOps and know a thing or two about CI/CD
- OCD-like mindset when it comes to clean, reusable and easy to maintain code
- You work proactively and don’t lose track of the goals: both independent and in a team
- You aim to innovate and are not afraid to give your opinion or share ideas and communicate well
- You don’t mind working from our HQ in Roermond or on location at our client’s offices (to collaborate with them) and of course it’s possible to work from wherever you want when it’s not necessary to be present at the office(s).
- Don’t take life to serious and aim for a good work-life balance
Skills & Knowledge
needed to do the job:
- Amazon Web Services (obviously)
- Infrastructure as a Code
- Infrastructure provisioning e.g. Terraform, Serverless Framework
- Experience with serverless resources e.g. Lambda, EventBridge, RDS
- Data Storage, Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Docker (and possibly Kubernetes as well)
- Experience in distributed systems incl. containerised microservices
- AWS Cost Management and Optimisation
- Networks and connectivity
- Security optimisation and Data protection
Nice to have:
- One or more (Associate or Professional) AWS Certifcation(s)
- Experience with microfrontend deployments
- Knowledge of programming languages e.g. TypeScript or NodeJS
